Wellington College UK lays ground in Pune with an evening of celebration
Wellington College International Pune hosted an evening of celebration on November 2nd at the ‘Oxford of the East”, Pune; to introduce the city to the Wellington College ethos and unveil the school prospectus
Pune: Wellington College International Pune (WCIP), which is the partner to Wellington College UK, hosted a glittering celebration on November 2, 2022, to mark the beginning of the Wellington College journey in India. The evening witnessed the unveiling of the school prospectus by the dignitaries from Wellington College International and the Unison Group, who have collaborated to make WCIP a reality. The dignitaries included Senior International Director of Wellington College International Mr Scott Bryan, Director of Education (Primary and EYFS) Ms Fiona Carter, Director for Wellington College Services Ltd and Group Estates’ Bursar Mr Edwin Wai, Co-Founder of Wellington College India Mr Anuj Aggarwal and Founding Master of Wellington College International Pune Dr Murray Tod. The evening also presented an opportunity for the audience to become acquainted with the leading personalities of Wellington College and the Unison Group through their insightful addresses.
An enthralling Indo-western fusion dance performance by Shinjini Kulkarni had the audience acknowledging and appreciating India’s rich cultural heritage.
Wellington College UK is aiming at achieving greater heights in the Indian school education market and to promote and provide skill-based learning in the Indian K-12 education space to help students reap the benefits of the dynamically changing industry opportunities. Wellington College International Pune will be a co-educational day school for ages 2-18, on a campus designed by an award-winning British architect MICA.
