,Pune: MIT World Peace University’s 5th Convocation Ceremony concluded with grandeur on November 4th, at the World Peace Dome in Loni Kalbhor, Pune. The event marked a momentous milestone as 5,180 graduates, including 16 outstanding PhD recipients and 140 medal awardees, bid farewell, highlighting the institution’s commitment to cutting-edge research and innovation. Notably, the prestigious MIT-WPU Vidnyan Maharshi Samman was conferred upon distinguished scientist Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar for his remarkable contributid of scien The ceremony was under President, Dr. Vishwanath Karad.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest, Amitabh Kant, India’s G20 Sherpa and former CEO of NITI Ayog. Mr. Kant, in his address to the students, emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for India and its youth, stating, “Institutions like MIT-WPU are the bedrock of quality education and skill development for our youth, laying the foundations for a progressive, dynamic, and vibrant India.”
